My Review:

This story cleverly goes back and forth in perspective from brother to sister. This male and female perspective on events really helps to bring balance to everything from the loss of their Mother to going to live with their Father. I really think bouncing between the main characters point of view added to the sense of twin connective-ness. At the heart of this story is a close twin relationship, over-protective brother and a slightly rebellious sister. DC Hall does a great job of making these siblings seem like any other, and then the fun begins! The jumping off point is their Mother's mysterious murder, but the rest of the story unfolds and nothing is as it seems. A government agency, is tracking them down and these siblings are more than just twins, they are Cuspians!

A fast paced read, DC Hall did a great job of making the events and action just flow on the page. You will love the plot twists in this one, they left me eagerly awaiting the next book in the Cuspian Series.

This is a YA book that has an even wider appeal. Be sure to check it out.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

DC Hall is obsessed with argyle socks, the smell of books and believes he is the smartest person in the room. Granted he’s usually alone when he thinks this but it still feels good. When his nose isn't stuck in a book, DC is usually writing or trying to teach his dog, Brooklyn, how to wash dishes (success remains elusive.) DC is from the south where the teas are sweet, distance is measured in minutes—not miles, and the skies are always Carolina blue.
