All the signs are here. I just registered my son for Kindergarten, apples are appearing in our orchard and the calendar says it is August already. Yes, Summer is coming to a close. I have a month left of picnics and BBQ meals to plan and enjoy. What recipes are you hoping to make before the weather changes? I still have hopes to fit in some canning before Summer is over. It has been a great season and I am almost ready to embrace the flavors and treats of Fall.

This week's Feature Recipe is onion burgers on the grill by Jodie Fritz. They look mouth watering and I am craving a yummy burger. Think I might have to make these tonight.
