Catch Disney's New "African Cats"
This "roaring" great movie leaps into theaters on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2011. "African Cats" features the kings of the African savanna. Follow along as Mara a lion cub, Sita a fearless mother cheetah, and Fang leader of his pride as they live, love and play. A real-life drama sure to be enjoyed by the entire family.
Watch "African Cats" during the film's opening week (April 22-28), and a portion of the week's ticket sales proceeds will be donated to the African Wildlife Foundation through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund to protect the Amboseli Wildlife Corridor. This Passage betweet Amboseli, Tsavo West and Chyulu Hills National Parks is frequently used by lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes and an assortment of other animals in the African savanna.
I know my son would love to see this movie. If we get a chance, we will be hitting it opening week since this is such a great cause. It would be nice to have a fun movie afternoon and also let him know we helped his new animal friends. Check out this trailer:
