Looks tempting, isn't it? Would you be surprised if I told you there is more to this breakfast snack, than meets the eye?
These NEW Quaker Soft Baked Bars can be eaten both warmed or cold to help fuel your day. Quaker has packed them with real fruit and nuts to create two delicious flavors, Banana Nut and Cinnamon Pecan.
I try to make breakfast and my mid-morning snack a priority, unfortunately as a busy Mom I never know when life is going to throw me a curve-ball! I might have laid out our clothing the night before, have the house clean and ready to go for the day, but if one of my children wakes up sick, an appointment runs late, the electricity goes out, etc. I am usually scrambling to pick up the pieces.
On those crazy days, which happen more often than I care to admit, I like to have healthy and simple options ready to go. These bars look like a great addition to my "on-the-go" solutions.
Not just tasty, these bars also pack:
- only 140 calories
- 5 g. of fiber
- 6 g. of protein
- are an excellent source of 5 B-vitamins
I am not sure which of the two flavors I would like to try first! I enjoy both banana nut and cinnamon pecan flavors equally. I might have to get a box of each to keep my diaper bag, purse and car stocked and ready for the unexpected.

I am addicted to the banana nut ones! Me and my 7 year old fight over them. The banana nut is dairy free but the cinnamon is not so I haven't tried it. Have not had them warm yet but will try that soon. And right now they are one of the least expensive breakfast bars at walmart. Cheaper by the oz then granola bars.
