What is your typical breakfast?
Yeah, I guess as it nears 1 am here, I have breakfast on the brain! My typical breakfast is oatmeal. I add a little handful of almonds and a few dried cranberries to it. This is quick and healthy and tides me over till I can squeeze in lunch. With two kids I am very busy in the morning preparing bottles, changing diapers and getting food and snacks all set up. Is my breakfast glamorous? No. But, I can make it one handed and in my sleep.
So tell me, are you a skip it sort, or do you go for a Grand Slam? Give me some new ideas on the hope that someday I will be able to spend time on breakfast again in the future. Thanks for your comments. I love reading them.

Aloha! Yum! I love oatmeal! I am one that usually doesn't eat breakfast. I'm bad that way. I eat mostly at lunch! If I did eat breakfast more I love biscuits with gravy and shredded hashbrowns! Yum!
ReplyDeleteSandwiches! or Cereals or pretzels!

I usually skip it, when I do eat breakfast I grab a piece of fruit, bagel or english muffin.

It depends on my mood, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteI either grab some cereal, oatmeal or waffles with poached eggs.
Oh I usually skip breakfast! When I do eat breakfast though, it's usually when I am out on vacation up in Big Bear. I usually will get The Gunny which is eggs with ham, cheese, & onions hashbrowns, and english muffin. If I am at home and I have breakfast, it is usually just cereal.

My typical breakfast is a green smoothie and a handful of nuts.
ReplyDeleteI usually feed Lizzie a bowl of cereal and I skip. I might drink a glass of juice, but cereal is not a big meal here.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Friday Follow. Great blog- I love food. :) I love a huge breakfast, though sometimes I do end up skipping. I notice that when I do eat a substantial breakfast I eat less the rest of the day.
ReplyDeleteEggs or leftovers from the night before. If I'm really desperate than cereal. Following you from friday follow.
ReplyDeleteI love breakfast! I eat bagels with cream cheese, I do like oatmeal too, I will eat eggs, pancakes, waffles, english muffins, etc. I guess there isn't any breakfast food I won't eat - lol.
ReplyDeleteI did Aloha Friday too, and Friday Follow. I'm following you now! Hope you have a great weekend :)
Here from FF. Hope you'll have time to come by and see our blog/vlog. We're often silly and sometimes serious. Depending on the day! And...yeah...I'm a coffee only girl in the morning until 11am. Then it might be breakfast or dinner...depending on the mood. Holly:)
ReplyDeleteI love oatmeal with "stuff" in it, of course my breakfast depends on how much time I have in the AM. Getting two kids out the door and to work on time sometimes leaves me with only coffee! I tend to eat a lot of small meals in the day so.... breakfast sometimes happens at 10am....
ReplyDeleteJust over from Friday Follow, I am your newest follower!
I love bagels. YUM
ReplyDeleteI like oatmeal, but the points were really high. I switched lately to Light English Muffins with a small amount of preserves on them.
ReplyDeleteI love breakfast. Pancakes are my fave, but that is normally just weekends. I also like cereal and yogurt. Normally what I eat during the week, or sometimes Eggs with toast.
ReplyDeleteI used to love to grab a bagel but OH the calories!!! Now, I usually skip it (and I know that's bad), grab a granola bar or what I really love is a bowl of Special K with bluberries, strawberries and soy milk. On occasion, I love when my hubby makes pancakes on the weekends! ~mymiracles77 (http://myordinarymiraclesblog.com)
ReplyDeleteI don't usually eat breakfast. Sometimes I make muffins and when I do I will have one for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteWe're a big "protein for breakfast" family, so eggs, oatmeal, bacon are commonplace on our tables! Following you through FF!
ReplyDeleteI love a nice soft boiled egg with toast. Looking forward to looking through your blog! I'm new to Friday follow...Hope you'll come see mine at www.zen-mam.com.
ReplyDeleteI live for Breakfast! I love almost everything. I hate Runny eggs. I love cereal, eggs, english muffins, pancakes and many many more. Of course for me, the more unhealthy, the more I LOVE it! SO, Coffee cakes, Sticky Buns, Doughnuts, and the like are my kryptonite! I'm sooo hungry now.
ReplyDeleteSteak for dinner, but I'm already planning a dangerous breakfast!
Happy Friday Follow! I'm following you now!
