Join the Adventure with Rainbow Brite! -Giveaway

In the '80s we loved to steal fashions from the '60s. My Mother used to laugh at the styles and items I picked out. I picked them because they were trendy, she saw a fashion from her past. Well, now it is my turn to watch this 20 year cycle with toys!

Seems like many of my childhood favorites are back and I am ready to share them with my children. One fun retro toy sporting a modern makeover is Rainbow Brite. I remember my doll, it was soft with a plastic face. She had bright golden hair of yarn and fun, colorful, shiny clothing. What more could a little girl want? Well, Rainbow Brite is back with her friends Tickled Pink, Moonglow and their horses, puppy and Sprite friends.

Thanks to Momselect and Hallmark, I was sent a bunch of Rainbow Brite activity CDs. I was so excited to receive them in the mail! They contain info on all the characters, the theme song, an animated short and activities. I was impressed with the theme song and was happy to share the short with my kiddos... okay, my DD is a bit young to appreciate it yet, but she will... I am sure! I am just so excited to see this character back. And the dolls are actually back in Target Stores right now. They will be in Toys 'R' Us later this month.
