Aloha Friday - #30

Aloha Everyone! In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend.Friday used to be my friend, but today it signals the end of another week... that went by too quickly! But, I survived the week, so to celebrate! Let's sit back, relax and enjoy a little blog hop. No heavy mental lifting today... just one simple little question...

How Was Your Labor Day Weekend?

As you might have read, our family packed up and drove into the middle of nowhere for a fabulous weekend at PKU family camp. PKU is a rare metabolic condition that both of my children have and it is wonderful to be surrounded by other families who understand. This camp takes place at the Washington Family Camp in the Oregon desert. 2 full days packed with new food ideas, networking and workshops for about 160 campers this year. The weather was great! My Father-in-Law & Husband enjoyed the zip-line, I played with the kiddos in the pool and we all took some wonderful evening walks under the stars. Now I can't wait until next year.

So, what was your family up to? A relaxing weekend in? Or a rustic camp out?
