Del Monte's Teacher Monday #Giveaway (3 winners)

Fresh fruit and vegetables are an important part of every meal in our family. My children have a condition that makes it hard for them to break down protein. So, every meal and snack involves fruit or veggies for them. Some weeks it is hard to keep it in the house! Del Monte is a trusted brand I have grown up with and am glad to share with my children. I just love their fresh pineapples and bananas.



Del Monte Fresh Produce is holding its second annual “Teacher Monday:  Cash for Classrooms” promotion this fall.  The online contest awards teachers across North America with cash and fresh fruit.  It is designed to help support teachers in a time of the largest public school budget cuts in history, and help educate kids about eating healthy.


For 6 weeks this fall, 60 teachers will win cash to purchase school supplies and fresh fruit!
Ten schools will win a salad bar for their school and many more winners will get a Del Monte Fresh Field Day event for their school in which the entire student body will enjoy a day of Del Monte fresh fruit, games and fun activities!

To be eligible to win, teachers must register for “Teacher Monday: Cash for Classrooms” online contest at www.fruits.com now, then encourage their fans/friends to vote for them online starting September 26th. Ten winners will be selected each Monday for six consecutive weeks in October and November 2011. Winners are based solely on the number of votes they receive. Winning teachers will receive $750 in cash to purchase school supplies and $250 in Del Monte fresh fruit coupons for classroom snacks and to use in fruit educational activities.

Look for “Teacher Monday: Cash for Classrooms” stickers on Del MonteÒ fresh produce such as pineapples, bananas, melons, grapes, avocados, tomatoes and fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, as well as colorful posters and other materials in produce departments.

Del Monte has generously offered a backpack full of school supplies to one Adventures in All Things reader.  This would be perfect for a teacher, or a classroom you know that could use it.
