Hi Everyone!
It's Monday again and time to check in on the
Mamavation -scale. Every week lately seems to fly by. As a Stay-at-home
Mom I am never bored. Small victories! Xe won, skirmishes might be lost
but the bigger battles are never conceded.
My son is
finally potty-trained. Can I get a hallelujah? It has only been nearly 2
years in the making. This is a huge non-scale victory for me and
weight off my shoulders. My son turns 4 in 3 weeks and we have gone back
and forth doing the potty dance since he was 2. Now, I get to focus on
my daughter. Wish me luck!
I am officially kicking off this week by stating that I am not trying to get my body back after baby anymore. I am now trying to get my body ready for baby. I love the motivation I am feeling!
So what is the game plan?
I am finishing up the #100DayBurpeeChallenge, wish me luck! I am also making the pledge to get 1/2 hour of exercise a day and 12,000 steps
a day. *Gulp* My steps have dropped off a little since I have been
spending more time in the kitchen and blogging. I need to find more
balance to be healthier. I am also trying to build up the nerve to get
back on the treadmill and conquer my C25K fears.
And for nutrition?
Here is my meal plan for the week:
Mon. - Zucchini, brown rice and black bean skillet meal, homemade applesauce & asian pears
Tues. - Lemon & kale baked pasta, fresh tomatoes
Wed. - Quinoa & black bean bowls (I love these!) with apple slices
Thur. - Leftovers
Fri. - Kale & sausage soup with salad
Sat. - Butternut squash, spinach & black bean burritos, salsa and chips
Sun. Leftovers
I'm still rocking the #NoFastFood challenge and have only eaten out twice this month in a sit down restaurant. No drive-thrus, quick grabs on the go or junk eating. Truly, I would love to try for an entire month of home cooked meals, but even I need a break every once in a while.

Question: What parts of your body are you especially proud of right now? What makes you love them?
I think my legs are amazing because they have carried me all around the world, my back is great because it supports the rest of my body and allows me to carry and hug my children and my hands create what we eat every day.
