My Messy Fingers Met Their Match - Lysol's No-Touch Kitchen System #Review

Have I mentioned a few hundred times, I love to cook? Okay, I also love to eat and the two tend to go together. The worst part? Well, the messes I make!

I am not talking about a little tomato on my fingers kinda mess, but what about sticky dough? Or the meat on my hands after hand mixing a meatloaf or forming meatballs? Gross, right?

Those messes stick to my hands and then are transferred to anything I touch, even my soap. But, what if I could get my soap without having to contaminate another surface? Well, luckily I don't have to pay someone to pump for me (but wouldn't that be kinda fun?), check out Lysol's newest kitchen gadget:

Lysol's No-Touch Kitchen System conveniently sits by the sink, ready to help clean whatever mess comes it's way.

  • Dishes - cuts through grease and food residue to leave dishes clean. It did a great job getting through both dried on messes and leaving our glasses clear and residue free.
  • Kitchen Surfaces - The soap works on both new spills and greasy messes. I successfully used the soap on both my stove top splatter and general counter messes.
  • Hands - I found the soap to be easy on my hands and love that it kills bacteria cutting down on cross contamination.

The soap currently comes in both Sparkling Tangerine, which I tried out and loved, as well as Shimmering Berry and Sunkissed Lemon scents.

My husband was very skeptical when it arrived. I set it by the sink and hid our usual soap pump. After a few days of getting used to the censor I was in love! No more contaminating my dispenser after working with meat. No more daily cleaning of the soap dispenser. This was easy, it smelled great and it was pretty quiet.

Set up was simple.

Out of the package the Lysol No-Touch Kitchen System is pre-loaded with batteries, so I just needed to remove the tab in the battery case and add the 8.5 oz. soap dispenser on top.

There is a sensor under the dispenser you can either put your hand or a sponge under. It turns off on the back. I chose to leave the dispenser turned off when I'm not working in the kitchen to keep my curious toddlers from playing with it.

After having this dispenser at the sink, the old pump hasn't reappeared from it's hiding place. I love that it is helping me keep my kitchen cleaner and in turn making my life easier.

  1. What a great sounding product! I'm always worried about transferring stuff from my hands to other surfaces and getting my kids sick. It hasn't happened, but I still worry. This sounds like it would kick that worry for me :) thanks for the review!
