Network Smart with the Right Business Card - UPrinting #Giveaway

I am horrible with names.

It doesn't matter how many memory tricks or devices I have tried, there is no way at a busy event I could remember everyone's names and relevant information without help. Add to that contact information, social media and website or product? Oh, boy. I have one trick that never fails, great business cards!

A great business card can make the right impression on potential clients, brands and fellow bloggers. I am sure you have been there, too. So many names and faces, but a business card I will keep and refer back to months later. I even enjoyed receiving a business card slipped into a giveaway win from another blogger. I keep cards like this pinned to my dry erase board and other filed away.

If you are as forgetful as I am, I have two suggestions for using business cards:

1. Write a personal note whenever possible on the back. Make a quick note of a conversation topic, the product you discusses or something unique about the person. If I am giving the business card to someone I try to do the same things. This way in a day or two when I pick up the card my memory will be jogged and I will be able to use or file the information away as needed.

2. Grab your phone and snap pic of the person. Attach this info to their name in your address book and when you look at the card later on, if you are better at faces than name like I am, you will be able to remember the person attached to the card.

Of course you don't have to be a blogger to use business cards. My family goes to a special camp every Summer for kids with similar metabolic disorders. I will use business cards there to network with other families and share recipes and tips. I am excited to make an order through UPrinting for these and even more excited to be able to share a great giveaway with you!
