New Monsuno Core Sets - From TV to Toy Stores Near You

You might have seen Monsuno on Nicktoons on Thursdays at 8:30 ET/5:30 PT, chances are your kids probably have. 

The Monsuno™ series is an epic boys action adventure where kids discover, command and battle creatures with destructive potential.  A race to harness the power of Monsuno ensues between a group of heroic kids and the evil forces focused on destroying the planet.  Built around powerful, action-driven animation, dynamic characters and a deeply woven original story mythology, Monsuno is anticipated to develop into a powerful force in the boys action arena for years to come.

Now not only is Monsuno a popular televesion program but the JAKKS Pacific® toy line will release more than 100 Monsuno figures for children ages 4+. 

The Monsuno toys offer many different ways to play depending on a child's age and skill level, but all bringing the larger-than-life adventures of the animated series into a child's hands.

The Monsuno characters fold and fit inside their cores, clicking in place ready to do battle. Spin them and they pop out to battle upon impact. This is a concept boys quickly catch onto.

I had a hard time folding my action figure up to fit back inside the core, but kids figure these things out faster than adults.

What role play would be complete without Topps collector game cards. Damage points, speed and power matches, so many ways to keep a boy busy and happy with his favorite fantasy adventure. Some cards came with the set and others can be purchased separately to build up a collection.

There are also collectible metal die cast cores good for spinning games. Now, don't worry if this all seems confusing. Each set comes with play instructions, game tips and well, the kids know most of this already.
