Our world is full of heroes. My son knows that and loves dressing up as a firefighter, police officer, soldier or doctor. What kind of hero does your child look up to? Do they dress-up and pretend to be any of their real-world heroes at home?
My son has dressed up as a firefighter for the past 3 years. This particular costume is far too short, a little too tight, but he refuses to give it up. I know I will be replacing it when Halloween rolls around again. He just admires our local firefighters so much.
This year marks the 60th Anniversary of Matchbox and they are celebrating with a Matchbox Heroes Wanted contest. They will be giving away 60 prizes each week from April 1st - 21st, with a grand prize of a $60,000 scholarship!
