New Soft Scrub Mold and Mildew Gel Cleaner Review and Giveaway

I hate cleaning the bathroom. I know we probably all do, but being pregnant I haven't been able to stand the smell of many cleaners. That usually leaves me with a lot of elbow grease worth of hard work. But at 8 months pregnant I am looking for an easier way to get our tub scrubbed.

The kids are still getting dirty and bath time waits for no tired Mom, so I was more than willing to try out the new Soft Scrub Mold and Mildew Stain Remover Gel Cleaner as a Purex Insider. Of course, the claims that there were no harsh fumes were going to be put to the test by this super pregnancy nose and the grout and tub contours were going to put it's cleaning power to good use.

This is what I am working with. See all those little grooves and corners? This is why I am not a fan of cleaning the tub. Though I am a fan of a clean bathroom.

This formula worked better for me because the gel is thick enough to cling to the surfaces I am trying to clean, but doesn't just produce a fine mist of bleach in the air to irritate my nose. Yes, I expect a lot from my cleaner. Luckily, this new formula delivered and in just a few minutes I was left with a clean tub and shower.

When my husband brought the kids upstairs for their evening bath he wasn't knocked over by cleaning fumes, but he did notice that the tub was clean.
