Friday Food Frenzy (6/28) - It's Hot in the Kitchen!

Finally things are heating up around here! With the 4th of July on the way it is getting too hot for me to think about anything other than backyard grilling and getting out the ice cream makers or shaving some ice for snow cones. The fruit is early this year so not only are our cherries looking great, but there are peaches ripe in the orchard. I am thinking of whipping up a few fresh fruit sorbets and simple fruit syrups to be used for homemade soda or snow cones for the kids.

What are your favorite hot weather recipes? Am I the only one who's mind jumps straight to cold desserts?

Check out this Fourth Of July Patriotic Round Up  of recipes, crafts and decor!

Buffalo Chicken Burger

This week's Featured Recipe comes from Happy Valley Chow and since many of us will be grilling this summer I thought I would share her Buffalo Chicken Burgers.  My husband loves his buffalo wings so this is definitely on my list.  Thanks for stopping by.
