Easy Holiday Entertaining with Fruit and Hershey's™ Spreads

I created my easy chocolate and fruit treats using Hershey's™ Spreads as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #SpreadPossibilities #hersheysheroes. All opinions and experiences are my own.

If you have a large crowd to feed or unexpected guests are always stopping by, it is nice to have a simple snack or treat solution right in the pantry. This season I discovered Hershey's™ Spreads and I think they are the perfect fast solution to dress up fresh fruit. Who doesn't love fruit and chocolate this time of year?

Far better than having to melt or temper chocolate, which can take a while and be frustrating for a mulit-tasking Mom, I can just open a jar and spread rich, chocolaty flavor on just about anything imaginable.

The Hershey's™ Spreads come in 3 varieties:
  • Chocolate
  • Chocolate with Almond
  • Chocolate with Hazelnut
All spreadable, and all ready to go for your hungry guests.

I think any treat is more exciting for children on a stick, so I first created banana treats on lollipop sticks.

You Will Need:
  • Bananas
  • Hershey's™ Spreads
  • chopped nuts
  • shredded coconut
  • puffed rice cereal
  • holiday sprinkles (I used white snowflakes)
I cut each banana in half and inserted a lollipo stick in each half. Spread the Hershey's™ Spread of choice on the bottom half of the banana then sprinkle with desired toppings.

Another thing I love about the Hershey's™ Spreads is that I don't have to worry about getting the right consistency for piping. I found some ripe raspberries on sale this week and thought they would be perfect to fill with chocolate! I am not a huge fan of raspberries, though the rest of my family is. Something about mixing raspberries and chocolate appeals to even me.

Grab a pastry bag or zip top bag and fill with Hershey's™ Spreads and then cut a corner or fit with a small round tip. Squeeze just a little chocolate into each raspberry. So fast, so easy and so yummy!

I also spread fresh cherries and dried apricots with Hershey's™ Spreads and then sprinkled with a little topping of my choice.

The sky is definitely the limit for these new Hershey's™ Spreads. You are only limited by your culinary imagination.

How will you spread your Hershey’s®? Will you use it as a chocolate dip, chocolate spread, or for some other creative use?
