I would prefer the honey colored one, and would be proud to have it out in my kitchen. Right now I have a simple plastic stool that is kept in the closet and only brought out occasionally. Honestly, I don't want to see it. I am guilty of climbing up on my chairs to reach a top shelf. ...I am 5'4" and stuff is still too tall sometimes! But, that is such a bad example for my kiddos.
