Livrada - The New Way to Gift for eReaders #Giveaway

I love giving people a great book, but everyone seems to have a Kindle or Nook these days! Giving someone a blank gift card isn't as fun for me, or allows me to be personal with a gift of literature. Sometimes a title just suits a friend or family member, but how do you give them a specific book for their e-Reader?

I was thrilled to find Livrada!

So, what is Livrada? It is a physical gift card, currently sold in Target stores, for a specific ebook title. Using the book's cover art, there is no question as to what you are giving. Yes, e-book giving just got personal.

Whether your recipient has a Nook or Kindle (or you don't know), redeeming the book is simple!

Instructions are right on the back of the card along with the pin.
  1. Go to Livrada.com
  2. Enter your pin and choose your platform (Kindle or Nook)
  3. Log in to your Amazon or Barnes & Nobel account to "accept gift" and download the title to your device.

It took me less than 5 minutes to start reading Fifty Shades of Grey on my Kindle. I was impressed and I am excited about the gift possibilities for family members with the upcoming holiday season, birthdays and other special occasions.

Currently available in 6 New York Times Bestselling Titles:

  • Fifty Shades of Grey
  • The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
  • State of Wonder
  • Gone Girl
  • 44 Charles Street
  • Odd Thomas
There are plans to expand to more titles and more retailers in the near future, but I wouldn't mind devouring any of their current selection of books. Right now, grab your e-book gift card, in the title of your choice, in the electronics aisle of Target stores.

Connect with this growing new brand on Facebook or Twitter to stay in the loop!

Giveaway Time!!

I also have a Livrada e-book gift card for Fifty Shades of Grey to give away to one lucky reader! This giveaway ends 8/16/2012. Use the Rafflecopter widget below and good luck.

*Disclaimer - I was sent my own e-book gift card to facilitate this review. No other compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
