Pack Lunch Right with the Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit

I dislike smooshed sandwiches, crushed grapes or warm cheese, so I was thrilled to take the new Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit for a test drive...

This stack of snack, side and sandwich containers is a great way to stay organized and "right-side-up" with lunch. BPA free and perfectly portioned, this is a quick and easy way to take the hassle out of school lunch making this year.

I am not new to the small Rubbermaid snack-sized containers, but usually they bounce around and end up on end or upside down in my re-usable lunch bag.

Now the small containers are modular and can snap in place and stay together with the rest of  lunch.

The set also includes a special Blue Ice pack that keeps the lunch chilled and also snaps in between the sandwich and sides, or just under the sandwich. The possibilities are as varied as the lunches I plan on putting in mine.

And I couldn't help but check to see if all the parts stayed in place if tipped - Success!

The lids for each container also easily snaps onto the bottom so you don't have to worry about misplacing lids. I wish all of my food storage containers has this feature.

The sandwich container is a great size for most average loaves of bread, but it was also a great fit for my wraps, rice (bento style) and other left-overs. I want to get a set for everyone in the family and use these for picnics in the park. The kits are a nice cube shape and would fit in my picnic bag easily.

As for clean-up? These containers are microwave, dishwasher and freezer-safe to make a busy Mom's life easier.

Have you found the new LunchBlox containers in your local stores? They are currently sold at currently Rubbermaid.com, Target, Kmart, Kroger, Safeway, Bi-Lo, Winn-Dixie, HEB, other grocery stores and select Wal-Mart stores. Be sure to check out all the containers on Rubbermaid.com. I also love the look of their LunchBlox Salad Kit, which I think would make building the perfect lunch salad a breeze!

Connect with Rubbermaid on Twitter, Facebook and check out their Adventures in Organization Blog.
