The Shadow of the Revenaunt: Ordelanden by Paul E. Horsman - My Thoughts

A copy of the book was provided by Promotional Book Tours in order for me to write an honest review. All opinions are my own.

The woes are piling up for the brand new King Ghyll. Giant wolves and monstrous birds terrorize the outer provinces of his kingdom and the local authorities dump these problems in their ruler’s lap.
The King of the Nhael suspects Ghyll to hold his son prisoner and sends a delegation to demand the prince. But Ghyll can’t produce Torril, for his friend has disappeared.
Not only in Rhidauna are problems. Qaunshun, a nearby city-state in the Desert of Jewels, sends Ghyll a cry for help he can’t ignore.
To top it all has somebody murdered the Landscommander of the fiercest of the three Ordelanden. If Ghyll fails to calm down the furious order knights, all will be embroiled in a bloody fratricidal war.
And what is the dark secret Zethir, Ghyll’s personal spy, carrying with him?
Meanwhile at home, Ghyll ‘s young wife Kerianna is about to give birth, and the King has sworn on his love to be present.
Many new adventures await our King and his band of true Companions. Follow them in ‘Ordelanden’, the third book of the Shadow of the Revenaunt-series.

My Review:
Another fabulous installment of this series. This is the third book I have read by author Paul E. Horsman, the second in this particular series, and with each story I have a renewed appreciation for the author's storytelling. You can read my previous review for Rhidauna (Book 1)

There is something about a familiar character, they become like old friends. I was excited to pick back up with Ghyll. He has matured and changed through the stories, but has remained likable and worthy to hold the reader's interest.

This is a fast read filled with action, great characters and promise for even more great books to come.
